clinton road 1/16/10

hey everyone its jenna again, so this past weekend, my friends decided to go on their first weird NJ with out me :( oh well instead i was home watching paranormal activity (which might i add scared me and will later on become part of the story im telling here ) well my friends decided in two cars to drive over to clinton road in new milford new jersey. ill first tell you the story of what happened with my friends. my friends anthony and laurie were driving at 10 pm on this road also known as clinton road. they hadnt really read all the stories about clinton, but they knew little bits like witches and KKK, and animals along with ghosts. but what they didnt know what that they would be leaving there freaked out as anything and wanting more of this rush of being scared. as they apporached clinton they saw a bridge up ahead. anthony was driving the first car he was leading and kept driving. a few minuetes later adam (my boyfriend) turned around to see a dark road behind him. which made him start screaming "wheres laurie?!" he kept yelling. the boys did a quick 180 and drove 70 miles per hour back toward the bridge where they found laurie and our friend chris sitting on the bridge her car dead and not moving. adam broke one of the rules of clinton road, he got out of the car. running over to laurie her sitting in the drivers seat hystercially crying. and chris sitting in the passanger seat freaking out. after a few tries they finally got her car started again. but the freaky part was, it died on the bridge. it is said it's never a good idea to go into these woods or drive on this road at night. for tradition tells that it is infested with bands of robbers, counterfeithers, to say nothing of the witches taht helf their nightly dances and carousals at green island and ghosts that made their frightful appearences there. it is said that you should never get out of your car on clinton road since there are KKK rumored to be active in that area along with satan worshippers. (and of course thats what adam did) as you drive down clinton road it is said that you can feel the presence of evil amoung you and it gets stronger as you make it towards to cross castle. another reason to never get out of your car is for more practical reasons such as the infestatino of black bears, poisonous snakes and recently wild coyotes. every october 30th it is said that the cross castle that was knocked down that crosses with clinton road rebuilds itself every october 30th so that the KKK can sacrifice a goat in it. a young girl got into a car crash on this street and died instently. if you tell the story of her death while your driving down the street youll see her blue 88' camaro drive by you. and finally what led to my friend freaking out was that the final story is that if you stop on the bridge at midnight and throw quarters off the bridge a little boy will either throw them back or bring them back up to you. which made my friend freak out since that is where her car died. this is something fun that people should try just know what lies ahead and BE CAREFUL
